Wales - but not Wales, Teeth at last and Weigh-ins

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it has been ages and ages since my last blog - I will try and remember everything that happened. BUT FIRST - after months of pain I HAVE A TOOTH - it is at the bottom in the front and I LOVE playing with it. It is really cool to put my tongue out like Dad does and play with the tooth - also, I like putting food in my mouth and running it along my tooth! The only bad news is that it took 3 nights of not much sleep to get there and that meant that me and mum had the cold I talked about last time for another week! - but I am very proud of my new tooth and mum is too - she is telling everyone, anyone would think it was her tooth! I think there is another one coming too!!!!!

Me and mum and dad went on holiday last week - apparently we were in wales, but it was very confusing cos it wasnt Naini and Taidi's house, although they were there for a bit - also, I saw my cousin Jane who lives in Newcastle and her boys - I have never met them before but they were very nice - I think mum has got a photo to put up. THe weird thing was that mum said when we were on our way to see them that my Great Uncle Rhys was there - but Uncle Rhys lives in Prestatyn with Aunty Jacky and Cousin Nia and I was sure we werent in Prestatyn...Then we get there and there are dogs and cows and sheep and cousin Jane and this man that looked like Taidi but was also my Great Uncle Rhys - it was very very confusing - I must have two of them - weird.

WE had a good time on holiday - we went for walks, dad took me swimming - I wasnt allowed to go in the hot tub with mum and dad though which I didnt think was fair.

This week, mum took me for a weigh-in - I am 30 weeks old now and I weighed 7.75kg (17lb 1 oz) which means I am on the 50th percentile - I was only on the 25th last time. Must be all the food I am eating.

I think I am close to crawling - I went somewhere were there were lots of other children yesterday (they were all bigger than me though) and I saw them walk and crawl - i want to do it - so I am practising hard.

Mum keeps kissing me lots and talking about a nursery - think it might have been where we were yesterday - but not sure =- will keep you all posted.

Sorrow and Sweetcorn

Hi everyone,

After the chaos of the week before, me and mum had a quiet week. We were both feeling a bit poorly, so we didnt do much except go to my friend Clem's house to play. Oh yes, and on Friday we met Dad for lunch and then they bought me a new toy - it makes lots of different noises when I hit it - it is great. As usual, on Saturday, we went swimming in the morning - but it was weird cos my pram seems to have changed - I was mainly asleep but there was definitely something different about it.

Dad dunked me AGAIN - I am getting used to it now, but sometimes he does it with no warning! Mum found out that the other little girl in my class is called Eva and has a Welsh mummy too!

Then we all went on a bus up to a pub and met some friends of dad and mum - Jo and Mark. Mum took some pics. Then we went home and watched England play Wales - I had all my welsh stuff on - but it didnt help and we lost and mum was very sad. I love watching rugby with mum, except when she shouts - I didnt like that.

Yesterday we went for a long walk and then some more friends came around - Ruth and Kevin. I was reading the newspaper with Kevin and having alot of fun. We all sat down and had dinner together that seemed to take mum ages to cook. I loved all the roast veg and a bit of pork - but I was too tired to eat the apple and yoghurt - in fact, I had to have a power nap before bath even!

I really really want my teeth to hurry up and come cos they really really hurt. Naini is coming later so maybe she will make it all better - ciau for now, Gwennie xxxxx

P.S. As you can see whilst Dad was peeling veg, I was playing with my new toy in my highchair - but I had to keep and eye on dad and watch that he was doing it right! xx

birthdays, cakes and more food

Hiya everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since my last update - we have been really busy!

First Nain turned up, then taidi, then Ted came with Aunty Vic and Uncle Owen - it was crazy!

I had lots of fun playing with them all, it was a nice change from just playing with mum - but it was v noisy.

Apparently, cousin Ted was 2 and mum baked him a cake and made it looks like a character out of one of his books - "Dinosaurs love underpants" - but guess what......she makes me eat parsnips, but I didnt get any of the cake and cousin Ted said it tasted nice - in fact I saw them all eating it.

I am sitting up well on my own now, but no other new tricks - I have been too busy!

I hear mention of Naini coming again next week and then a holiday - yippee!!

Where has all the white stuff gone?

HI everyone,

Well all the white stuff has gone, dont know if it will ever come back - I liked it better than rain though :(

Dad took me for ANOTHER big bath - I liked it a bit more this time, but I still would rather have been asleep he he!

Mum keeps giving me more of this food stuff and I keep trying it - well, I have a bit of a suck to see what I think - I can't be bothered to actually swallow most of it! Mum has taken some pics of me eating - she thinks they are funny!

I went to my friend Cosmo's birthday party on Sunday - is wasnt fair cos it was in a ball park as I wasnt allowed to play - some guff about not being old enough - I am nearly 6 months now, that is OLD. AND GUESS WHAT???? - I am sleeping in my very own room now - it is great, no more listening to daddy's snoring all night - he he ! Mum bought me some new sleepsuits too (see pic), she said they were from great Aunty Angharad.

Mum disappeared for a day again on Monday - it was strange - but me and Dad had a great time and didnt really miss her at all!

I also saw my cousin ted and aunty vic through mum's computer the other day - that was weird, I thought they lived in Ireland not in mum's computer - it must be very squashed in there - cos I saw Naini and Taidi too and I have seen Nan and Granbob in there before now - very strange. I hope i dont have to live in a computer when I grow up!

okay - I am off for more food - byee!!

Chlorine, Cauliflower and no Cheese!

Hi Folks!

What a week I have had!

Daddy took me for a bath in a really really big bath a few days ago. It was strange cos there was lots of other babies there including one of my friends, Logan - normally I have a bath on my own! Dad was splashing me about and swirling me around, but to be honest I was more interested in my mouth. He also put me in some horrible frilly pink bikini bottom - I suspect it was mum's fault! Mum was watching from the balcony, but no pics I am afraid folks! Also, Naini will be pleased to hear that mum dried my hair with a big blowy thing after the big bath - it was fun!

The other exciting news is that I have tasted something called cauliflower! It was funny tasting, but I had a good suck on it. Mum and dad seemed very excited and took some video which I thought was a bit weird. Wonder what I will get next?

Still no real progress on the crawling, but I can shuffle forward a bit - maybe next time I wil have more news.
Me and mum are going out in a bit to see my friends and apparently we are going to a big boy's birthday party on Sunday - I heard dad talking about cake - wonder what that is?

New Year, New Clothes (and toys, and books and lots more he he!)

Hi Everyone,

Well we are back in London and it is VERY VERY cold - all the white stuff that I mentioned in my last blog is here, it must have followed me?!

We were in Naini and Taidis for ages and I had a great time. This Christmas thing seems to involve getting lots of new things - it is great! Everyone bought me lots and lots of gorgeous things, they are very kind (although mum didnt seem to get me much...) I can't remember everything I got (mums got a list - typical!) but as well as all the toys, new books, sheepskin and things, mum took away all my clothes and changed them with bigger ones - weird, but I like my new wardrobe.

I spent two days trying REALLY REALLY hard to turn over onto my front - it was SOOOOO frustrating - but mum and dad and taidi were egging me on and the day after Christmas day (the day I got lots of presents) I managed it, now I can barely stop !!!!! I am trying to move now that I am on my front, but it is very hard, I can lift my head up really high and my bum up really high but that doesnt seem to quite work...

Mum spent more time putting stuff in my eyes (I think she is obsessed!), and some other doctors looked in my eyes, but I am fine now - I could have told them that if they had listened! I am more concerned about my teeth - still no sign, but they really hurt :(

I saw lots of my cousins in Wales too - I dont know them all, but I smiled at them all so I hope they like me. I dont think they are cousins like cousin Ted, but I havent worked out why yet...

Oh, one more thing - do you like this picture of me in my xmas present from mum and dad? (they finally got me one) - it is a chair so I can sit at the table to read my books - I really like it!!

I also asked mum to put some other pics up - unfortunately, some of my hair has fallen out at the side, but it is still long at the top and the back - it is a bit embarrassing really - hope it grows back soon

Intruder Alert, Intruder Alert

Hello peeps - this is Ted Conry!

I have hacked into my cousin Gwen's computer and thought I tell you what I have been up to you and post some pics of ME!!

I arrived a week ago agt my Naini's house - Gwen was already here with aunty Sarah - I dont bother calling her aunty Sarah - just Sarah. In fact, sometimes I call my daddy Ow (!) - and my taidi Bryn - he he he

We have had lots of fun this last week - I have been teaching her tricks when noone is looking! I have had lots of presents off Santi and the family. I got a trailer from Naini and Taidi, a toolbox from Sarah and Doug, a book from Gwen, jigsaws, garden toolbelt, lego, an airport set (I have had to keep Doug away from it!) and loads of clothes and other toys - I love it!

Another REALLY great thing is that Naini has been making LOADS of pies!!!!!! - mince pies, christmas pudding pies, profiterole pie, trifle pie, brownie pies, apple pie LOADS!!! Me and Dougie both LOVE pies - they are our favourite food! I could eat them at every meal, all day, every day!!!!
