A Viva Espana

Hello everyone!

We are just back from sunny sunny Spain!! We went to see my mum's friends who live there - I went on an airplane which was great fun. I wasnt feeling 100% well as I think I finally have a few more teeth coming, and I didnt sleep very well when we first got there, but then I got better and I was able to play with the girls that live there. I had lots of fun playing with all the new things that they had and to get some cuddles. We werent there very long - just long enough for mum and dad to drink lots of orange juice and coffee.

Mum and dad didnt go to work yesterday for some reason, so we went for a walk (in the rain weirdly) and then after mum had bought herself some shoes we went out for lunch. It wasnt spanish but it was foreign - mum shared her food with me and it was yummy - but the best bit was when dad gave me some cold white stuff - it made my teeth feel alot better and it tasted gorgeous - I have to find out what it was.

I have been to nursery today, but my teeth are still hurting a bit, I hope that they arrive soon..

The only other big news is that I can now pull myself up on things and then move around - mum and dad spend alot of time looking v nervous when I do it though!

Sun, sun and some fun

Hi everyone,

Hope you like the pic of me about the write the blog!


Looks like spring has finally arrived! - me and mum and dad and the davies of prestatyn went on a long walk last weekend in the sunshine - I dont like it much cos it hurts my eyes a bit, but I liked the fresh air and mum and dad kept me out of too much light. But, yesterday dad took me out of nursery early and we went on the tube (apparently - I slept the whole way), met mum and we saw a man who said lots of nice things about me and my eyes and then gave me some really cool sunglasses - there is a picture here.

I am happy to report that mum did let me have a little bit of aunty angharad's chocolate and it was yummy scrummy - i ate it all up and felt really energetic for ages afterwards! - I think dad has eaten all the rest though. That is okay cos I like tangerines and especially strawberries - they are yum.

The big news which I almost forgot is that on Good Friday when we were in Naini and Taidi (the Conrys were there too) I finally started crawling on my own! - there is no stopping me now - I can crawl really fast and I can even crawl to something, pick it up and then sit down all in one movement. It took some practise but I can do it now. Nursery is great for picking up tips! - I think I will learn to walk next.
I saw lots and lots of my cousins when we were in Nainis it was great - big cuz Ted was there too - but all the pictures that mum took of me and him and AUnty Vic or even me and Taidi were rubbish =- mum!!!

Here are some others though that I like - the hairclip was a present from Molly and Aunty Yvonne and Uncle Wyn - what do you think? Teddy liked it cos he tried it on, but then he decided he liked his hair down more. I think that I want to grow my hair as long as Teddys and then as long as mummy's.

Nursery has been lots of fun, especially as my eyes dont hurt so much anymore and dad says that he is going to take me for a big bath on Saturday - maybe I will see some of my old friends there - I havent seen them for ages - they may not know about my crawling!

The I's have it

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't written for ages, but we have had quite a time! I have been prodded and poked alot and last week there were lots of people here - Naini, Taidi and Aunty Vic and we spent the day at a place I didn't recognise. Everyone looked really worried. I think that mum was worried that they were going to make me be a boxer - they put tapes on my hands!!
Naini and Taidi and Vic were here on Saturday, but then some of them were in the bathroom making funny noises - not sure what was going on there!
Anyway, I am feeling much better now but I am not allowed to go to nursery for some reason. Apparently we are all going to Wales in a few days and mum said that Aunty Angharad might have made me some chocolates - not sure mum will let me have them though, I will have to sneak it when she isnt looking!
I have also been making great progress with my crawling - check it out!

So much to eat, so little time!

Hiya everyone!

I have done lots of exciting things this week - I went to a 1st birthday party last Saturday in my party dress - there was lots to do and there was a lady who was singing and letting us playing instruments - it was really noisoy, but lots of fun. Dad didnt come - he went to see his friend Roddie to look at some computers (!)
I went to nursery for 4 days this week - daddy takes me in the morning and mummy picks me up. I had quite a good time, but only after mum and dad told them to let me sleep whenever I want! - all the new toys are great and I like watching the other children cos most of them are older than me, but not as old as cousin Ted and they give me lots of ideas about things to do.

Mum has taken lots of pictures of me recently - especially eating - I like eating dads phone and his camera strap too and mummy's bracelet!

Wales - but not Wales, Teeth at last and Weigh-ins

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it has been ages and ages since my last blog - I will try and remember everything that happened. BUT FIRST - after months of pain I HAVE A TOOTH - it is at the bottom in the front and I LOVE playing with it. It is really cool to put my tongue out like Dad does and play with the tooth - also, I like putting food in my mouth and running it along my tooth! The only bad news is that it took 3 nights of not much sleep to get there and that meant that me and mum had the cold I talked about last time for another week! - but I am very proud of my new tooth and mum is too - she is telling everyone, anyone would think it was her tooth! I think there is another one coming too!!!!!

Me and mum and dad went on holiday last week - apparently we were in wales, but it was very confusing cos it wasnt Naini and Taidi's house, although they were there for a bit - also, I saw my cousin Jane who lives in Newcastle and her boys - I have never met them before but they were very nice - I think mum has got a photo to put up. THe weird thing was that mum said when we were on our way to see them that my Great Uncle Rhys was there - but Uncle Rhys lives in Prestatyn with Aunty Jacky and Cousin Nia and I was sure we werent in Prestatyn...Then we get there and there are dogs and cows and sheep and cousin Jane and this man that looked like Taidi but was also my Great Uncle Rhys - it was very very confusing - I must have two of them - weird.

WE had a good time on holiday - we went for walks, dad took me swimming - I wasnt allowed to go in the hot tub with mum and dad though which I didnt think was fair.

This week, mum took me for a weigh-in - I am 30 weeks old now and I weighed 7.75kg (17lb 1 oz) which means I am on the 50th percentile - I was only on the 25th last time. Must be all the food I am eating.

I think I am close to crawling - I went somewhere were there were lots of other children yesterday (they were all bigger than me though) and I saw them walk and crawl - i want to do it - so I am practising hard.

Mum keeps kissing me lots and talking about a nursery - think it might have been where we were yesterday - but not sure =- will keep you all posted.

Phew, that was a long one -!

Sorrow and Sweetcorn

Hi everyone,

After the chaos of the week before, me and mum had a quiet week. We were both feeling a bit poorly, so we didnt do much except go to my friend Clem's house to play. Oh yes, and on Friday we met Dad for lunch and then they bought me a new toy - it makes lots of different noises when I hit it - it is great. As usual, on Saturday, we went swimming in the morning - but it was weird cos my pram seems to have changed - I was mainly asleep but there was definitely something different about it.

Dad dunked me AGAIN - I am getting used to it now, but sometimes he does it with no warning! Mum found out that the other little girl in my class is called Eva and has a Welsh mummy too!

Then we all went on a bus up to a pub and met some friends of dad and mum - Jo and Mark. Mum took some pics. Then we went home and watched England play Wales - I had all my welsh stuff on - but it didnt help and we lost and mum was very sad. I love watching rugby with mum, except when she shouts - I didnt like that.

Yesterday we went for a long walk and then some more friends came around - Ruth and Kevin. I was reading the newspaper with Kevin and having alot of fun. We all sat down and had dinner together that seemed to take mum ages to cook. I loved all the roast veg and a bit of pork - but I was too tired to eat the apple and yoghurt - in fact, I had to have a power nap before bath even!

I really really want my teeth to hurry up and come cos they really really hurt. Naini is coming later so maybe she will make it all better - ciau for now, Gwennie xxxxx

P.S. As you can see whilst Dad was peeling veg, I was playing with my new toy in my highchair - but I had to keep and eye on dad and watch that he was doing it right! xx

birthdays, cakes and more food

Hiya everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since my last update - we have been really busy!

First Nain turned up, then taidi, then Ted came with Aunty Vic and Uncle Owen - it was crazy!

I had lots of fun playing with them all, it was a nice change from just playing with mum - but it was v noisy.

Apparently, cousin Ted was 2 and mum baked him a cake and made it looks like a character out of one of his books - "Dinosaurs love underpants" - but guess what......she makes me eat parsnips, but I didnt get any of the cake and cousin Ted said it tasted nice - in fact I saw them all eating it.

I am sitting up well on my own now, but no other new tricks - I have been too busy!

I hear mention of Naini coming again next week and then a holiday - yippee!!
