Birth Days and Sports Days

Howdy folks,
I am now 4 oh yes, I am 4 and I loved my cowgirl party - ye ha!!!! First I had a party in London - Putney style and Nan and Granbob gave me a backpack AND a DORA backpack cake!!!!! - back pack, backpack, backpack, backpack - yeah!  My friends Alice and Evie and my little cousin Cameron came to my Putney party and I dressed as Princess Pearl - all the Ps!
Naini and Taid were there and after we had said goodbye to Nan and Granbob who had to go back to visit their kangaroos in Australia (a baby Kangaroo is called a Joey), I went to Wales in Taid's car.  Ted and Ollie and Aunty Vicky were there and we had a lot of fun playing together and in the park - it was hot!  Mum finally arrived and then dad and then Uncle Owen and then best of all, an ENORMOUS bouncy castle!  I spent the whole day bouncing and singing my song about How being a cowgirl is the best job in the world.  There were lots of people there all eating a lot of food - but the best thing ever was the cake that my Aunty Angharad made - it had Molly from bubble guppies on it - not MOlly my cousin, but she was there too!  I had a great party - I am now 4.
Before the summer holidays started we had a sports day in my school - Nan and Granbob and Dad and Mum and Molly all came to see my win the egg and spoon race.....well I would have won if I hadn't dropped the egg and I would've won the running race if I hadn't had to stop to put my hat back on - I was the best!!!!

we come and goooo we come and go o o oh!

look at all the characters that I have been dressing up as.....

princess pearl - because she is brilliant and lots of fun and wants to be a doctor and rides away on a dragon

a Wimbledon champion (well, I had my first tennis lesson and I won one of the games - it was a party really)

snow white - my mum's favourite ("best of a bad lot") Disney princess

an Australian easter bonnet-wearer! - I was in my school play

and best of all a cowgirl - ye ha ! - (see next instalment)

I love dressing up -  it is lots of fun and my school friends like doing it too!  Mum says that she doesn't have any imagination but I think she is pretty good (if a bit odd sometimes mum...)

Come fly with me

We had lots of visitors this summer, but one of my favourite visits was from my friends Sophia and Hannah - their mum and dad came too.  We waited for them for ages by the tube station, I thought they weren't coming, then finally they jumped out of a taxi!  I took them to one of my favourite places for lunch and then we went to look at some butterflies and caterpillars (mum looked a bit freaked out when the butterflies were near her head).
Then we went inside and looked at some polar bears, some whales, a dinosaur and some spiders!  They all came back to my house but we had to run really really fast because it was raining - dad went to the pub! I love visitors...

When all around are losing their roofs (heads)

hey folks,

well there has been a lot of upheaval here these last few months but thankfully one of us (me) has kept their cool.

Mum and dad decided to take the roof of the house, maybe for fun who knows, but it wasn't a good idea.  Just as we got the roof off the snow came , and it came into my bedroom - what were they thinking?
Anyway, dad got some of his builder friends in and away they went, stealing my chair in the mornings, making a mess, making me move out of my bedroom!  At one point me and Mummy had to leave and go and stay with nain and taid - I even went to Ireland to escape - dad stayed in London on the sofa - he he.
After a long long time the builders left and I decided enough was enough and I started to help out - moving books for mum, washing the bath, teaching dad how to have a shower - I was a bit like Cinderella with all that work - but there was no ball for me - just a tennis ball to play tennis with Alice in my back garden..... at least I got a nice new room out of it!!!!

Cousins, Cake and Cowley!

Happy Anniversary Naini and Taidi,
Me and mum and dad heard that they were having a party and we weren't there - so we jumped in the car and decided to gatecrash - you should have seen Naini's face when we turned up he he!  Lots of my cousins and aunties and uncles were there and we all ate cake.
Then one week later we went to a big hotel and guess who was there? Naini, Taidi, Uncle Owen, Aunty Vic, Teddy and Ollie!!!! It was amazing, we were all there.  We had a room next to Aunty Vicky and I had a lot of fun.  My favourite part was swimming in the swimming pools - there was two - one cold one and one hot one!! - I was a rufty tufty and went in both - I didn't see Taid or Nain in the cold one though !
Me and Ted went for a horse ride, we were like two cowboys - well, a cowboy and a cowgirl!

What a big surprise for me when I got home - I went to visit Uncle Geoff and Aunty Sam and there was a little baby there - my new cousin Cameron! - how many cousins have I got? - a million trillion

Snows alot

Just when you thought that all the snow had gone and it was spring - look what came to London?  Me and mum and dad had lots of fun in the snow in our park and I made a snowman - do you like my tutu?

Tinker, Tailor, Ballerina, Cook

I went to Ireland as a spy - who knew what disguise I was going to wear next?  I had two passports at my disposal and a string of disguises...
It was my cousin Teddy's birthday and my mum yet again proved she is the business when it comes to cake making !

I visited my side-kick Evie and we decided to back some cakes cos mum hasn't baked me a single biscuit for months - some excuse about no oven - pha!

Finally, I started ballet lessons in January and met a new friend called Astrid.  Ballet is a lot of fun but I am not sure that it is really teaching me anything that my dad can't!!!

Snows a no show but santa makes it!

Yes, it is true, I am a star - it is official!  I was a twinkling star in my school and my mum and dad were there to watch the whole thing!  My mum made me my star outfit, it wasnt a bad attempt mum but there were a few outfits that were better so please try harder next year.  Of course, it made no difference, I was still the twinkliest star!

yes, that is right folks, I am a fairy in this picture, I look very pretty.
Mum picked me up from schol one day and we jumped in the car and drove like the wind to naini's house!  Ted came the next day and I gave him a big hug.  Ollie and I love eating ice cream too - do you like my headband?

Just when I thought things couldnt get more exciting, we went and saw father christmas!!! he was really nice and said that he would bring me all my presents, and he did!!!! I am such a good girl!!! Ollie was a good girl too, she got a pony and I called it twinkle toes.I got a big red engine for my train set from santa, and a Gwen Pad - wow, I am sooooo good.  Do you like my crown and cape and gloves? my mummy;s friend who copied my mums name bought it for me - just call me Queen Gwen!

Mum and Aunty Vic made us all have a bath and wash our hair on the day before santa came, but I dont know why cos we had been to church to see the man in a dress and to sing a song, did we really need a bath too? - come on mum!
We all had alot of fun opening millions of presents, singing and dancing and showing everyone how to use my dancing ribbon - and I ate alot of mince pies that my naini made.  I shouted at my dad alot too - but not in the same way as mum does ;) but to say faster dad, faster when he was running really fast.  He beat aunty vic but then didnt feel very well, I think Uncle Owen was the fastest, but only cos me or my mum werent in the race, we would have got the gold and silver medals for sure.

This last picture is from when my mum and dad and aunties and uncles went for a race in a car - I think mum won (that is what she told me anyway), but only cos I was shouting really loud for her! - Come on Vamanos Momma!

I can't wait for another christmas, I had such a wonderful time I love it! - is it tomorrow mum?
